Stamford Daniels team up with local estate agents in innovative sponsorship deal

Stamford AFC has teamed up a local estate agents in an innovative sponsorship deal.

The Stamford office of Chesterton Humberts is backing the Daniels' promotion push by offering to pay commission to the football club for any home they sell on behalf of supporters or their friends in the town.

Supporters simply need to show the advert in the Daniels' matchday programme - or download a copy from the club website at http://www.stamfordafc.co.uk/ - when they put their house on the market with company.

On completion of the sale, the club will receive a minimum donation of £150 for houses that are sold up to a value of £450,000, £200 on homes sold between £450,000 and £750,000 and £250 for all properties sold for over £750,000.

What's more, the new homeowner will then receive a voucher for two tickets to attend a Daniels game and a club shirt as part of their welcome pack.

Chesterton Humberts' residential director Jason Lee said: "We are proud to be sponsoring the Daniels and happy to be involved with the vision for the future of the club, as a successful team can only be good for the town and community going forward."

Stamford AFC chairman, added: "We are delighted such an established national organisation, with a strong local presence, has pledged to back the club in this unique manner.

"We are looking forward to driving what is not a traditional opportunity for a sports club to be involved with, but certainly an exciting one.

"They have been good supporters for the club already this season and we're grateful for their backing once again.

"Jason has been very open to new ideas and doing something differently and I can only see their backing becoming more significant as the relationship evolves."
